CHALLENGING OPPORTUNITIES

The mission of Strengthening Participatory Organization (SPO) is to strengthen and support community organizations and public interest institutions of Pakistan for the benefit of poor and disadvantaged sections of society for sustainable development through a participatory approach. SPO works nationwide out of seventeen permanent and project offices and has capacitated more than 3000 community organizations and local body institutions, 56 rights-based civil society networks and provided training services to other UN, governmental and non-governmental organizations.

Masters degree in Social Sciences

Four to six years of relevant experience of managing Relief projects. PM has to overall supervise the project activities, provide training orientation to project team, design and supervise the distribution process and supervise field team in undertaking  distribution activities, budget tracking and strong communication skills required

Project Coordinator (01)

Charsada

Master’s degree in Social Sciences

Minimum two years’ experience of handling emergencies projects and supervising field teams, profound understanding of distribution process in relief projects.

Accounts Officer (01)

Swat

M.Com with two years and B.Com with four years experience

Three years of experience in accounting and administration in a nonprofit sector especially emergencies project. Working knowledge of accounting software, financial reporting and strong communication skills are essential for this job.

Community Relief Officer (10)

Minimum two years experience of working with communities. Actively undertake all project activities in the field such as survey implementation, data collection, and identification of target families for distribution of relief in project area. Coordinate and liaison with concerned district authorities and other organizations. Conduct meetings with communities for identification of project beneficiaries. Understanding of complexities and challenges of emergency projects/interventions

Should have excellent communication and negotiation skills; report writing and strong analytical, quantitative and qualitative research skills.

WATSAN Specialist (01)

03 years relevant technical experience, understanding of primary health and hygiene, WATSAN systems knowledge

M&E Specialist (01)

Masters degree required in Social Sciences, Public Health, Anthropology,

At least Five years of relevant experience, his/her main responsibilities will be planning, development and implementation of the integrated performance monitoring and evaluation strategies and plans.
