First Consolidated Report: ELECTION 2008

SPO Election Observation Cell has compiled its first consolidated report based on the information collected through field observers from 95 constituencies of the National Assembly in all four provinces on law and order situation in and around the polling stations, voter turn out including that of women, and observance of ECP regulations in the process. Most of the corresponding provincial assembly seats, 177, have also been covered through the observation cell.

The report also includes voter turnout analysis based on the data available on ECP website.

The work of SPO in one third of the constituencies it covered is supported by FAFEN and PACFREL, two representative civil society led monitoring networks. The information generated by SPO would feed into the findings of both these networks.
