BALOCHISTAN:
Following is the
update of relief activities in Balochistan carried out by SPO Turbat
and Naseerabad and Sibi:
SPO Turbat
-
Meetings were held with volunteers of union
council Koshkalat, Radio Pakistan Turbat and Dawn News regarding
distribution plans and relief activities
-
468 packages of food and non food items were
distributed in village Koshkalat, 216 food packages were
distributed in village Kahn-e-Pusht, 167 food packages were
distributed in village Zargifth and 154 food packages were
distributed in Apsi Bazar in union council Koshkalat
-
Registration process was completed in
villages Nokalat, Sothkal, Aliabad and Malki Bagh of union
council Koshkalat
-
Registration process was completed in
Shenzu-ke-Bazar, village Gokdan and village Nokabad of union
council Gokdan
-
103 food packages were distributed in village
Nokabad and 150 food packages were distributed in village Gokdan
of union council Gokdan
-
Meetings were held with the community of
union council Gokdan for distribution points and MSF-Belgium
regarding field visit of union council Pidark and distribution
of non food items in and around village Shadi Kore
-
Meeting with International Federation of Red
Cross and Pakistan Red Cross regarding data sharing of Koshkalat
for distribution of non food items was held. In this meeting the
two organizations agreed to provide basic curative and
preventive health care for 3000 families. Apart from that,
hygiene parcels, jerry cans, kitchen sets, mosquito nets,
shelter kits, kerosene stoves, mats with blankets and sheets to
3000 families were also promised. In addition to this, 1000
tents will also be distributed. Basic sanitation for 3000
families, 900 latrines and 2 water supply systems will also be
provided

Care International team was facilitated in
field visits of the affected areas

BBC correspondent was facilitated in field
visit of affected areas
SPO Naseerabad
- Medical aid was provided to 364 patients in 2 medical camps
in union council Baba Kot of district Naseerabad
- For distribution of shelters and non food items field team
conducted assessment in 9 villages of union council Baba Kot
covering 194 families
- In union council Manjhoo Shoree, in six medical camps, 180
patients were treated and 100 shelters were distributed
- Assessment for distribution of shelters and non food items
was done in 9 villages of Manjhoo Shoree covering 64 families
- In union council Allahabad Shoree in 4 medical camps, 146
patients were treated and assessment for distribution of
shelters and non food items was done in 7 villages
- In union council Kohna Tambu, 236 patients were treated in 2
medical camps and 18 shelters were distributed in village
Tohedabad, Wedos and Arphen
SPO Sibi
- Damage assessment was done in two villages in district Sibi
and one village in district Bolan
- Food items and clean drinking water was distributed in
village Mal Gorgaje in district Sibi
